Founding and Leadership Vivaldi International Academy is established through the endowment of the "Oxford Liberal Arts International Education Foundation, Yilan County." The foundation's inaugural Board of Directors comprises distinguished leaders from various sectors, including the current Chairman, Mr. Yi-Cheng Chen; Chairman of Sun-Te Electronics, Deacon Chiao-Chieh Huang; Advisor to the Executive Yuan, Pastor Yu-Chuan Chen; Chairman of Yi-Li Trading, Elder Ya-Lung Wang; and Chairman of the Chinese Youth Growth and Culture Foundation, Mr. Ming-Tsung Wei. Serving as the Project Director and Inaugural Head of the Institution is Mr. Wei-Kai Chang, a former university lecturer who has dedicated many years to advancing international and experimental education.
Outstanding Faculty and Global Perspective
Our teaching team is led by Associate Professor Dr. Ming-Ying Chiu, who holds a Doctorate in Music from Louisiana State University, U.S.A. The faculty brings together native English-speaking teachers from the United States, the United Kingdom, South Africa, and beyond, building a solid academic foundation across English, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science. The arts program is directed by the renowned artist Mr. Che-Ming Chang, boasting a faculty lineup that bridges academia and practical experience. Furthermore, the institution has introduced native Spanish and French teachers to help students break through language barriers and cultivate a profound international cultural perspective.
Comprehensive Care and Holistic Development
In terms of daily life and physical fitness, we engage professional swimming coaches and specialized foreign instructors, dedicating ourselves to the balanced development of our students' bodies, minds, and spirits. Our school fully implements a "Dual-Homeroom Teacher System." The Taiwanese homeroom teaching team is trained and managed by Director Fu-Ching Chuang (former Director of Academic Affairs at Nan Chiang Vocational High School) and Section Chief Yu-Hsin Tsai (former Academic Section Chief at Nan Chiang Vocational High School), the former holding Master's degrees from the US. Additionally, our campus is staffed with full-time registered nurses, Ms. Yu-Ju Yu and Ms. Chun-Yu Chen, alongside a professional psychological counselor. This ensures that every child can grow healthily in a highly supportive, worry-free environment.
